@fruitsncahoots: PERSIMMON SALAD — fresh, fall inspired yet catering to the *continued* warm temperatures of South Florida 😂 Find Fuyu persimmons and fingerlimes at the fruit stand this Friday-Sunday, 10am-5pm 📍10900 sw 48th st Davie, FL 33328 Ingredients 2-3 Fuyu persimmons Arugula Cheese of choice 1 cup crushed pistachios Olive oil 1-2 fingerlimes Salt Instructions Wash and slice Fuyu persimmons (super important you make sure you’re using this variety, all other varieties are astringent when hard and crunchy). I keep the skin on but peel if you’d like. Add sliced fruit to a bed of arugula, sprinkle cheese (I used crumbled goat cheese but anything would work here). Drizzle olive oil, pistachios, salt to taste, and you’re finished! Too simple and so delicious. Got thumbs up from all my taste testers at the fruit stand 🧡 I was extra fancy and added Fingerlime since they are in season at the moment and I wanted to incorporate something acidic.
