according to manufacturers your supposed to doubke clutch. when done correctly it won't cause and excess wear. if you slip it every shift then

Both are acceptable. If turning uphillthe drag will slow truck down faster,so I double clutch to keep accelerating

I've seen high houred trucks running the same clutch and driveline double clutched or floated. all comes down to the driver

Clutch is a wear item the more you use it the faster it’s gonna wear out, floating if done properly is fine and clutch will last longer.

It depends on the transmission, the transmission with synchronizers doesn’t need to be double clutched, but it does need to be clutched

Neither as long as you use it properly it will be fine. The transmission is made to handle no clutch shifting.

double clutching is for synchronizing the transmission. has nothing to do with wear on the clutch.

Every time you push the clutch it is wearing it down. Slip shift at right rpm’s will save both clutch and syncros
