And make sure it doesn’t have any large dark or soft spots or tears in the skin or flesh. The next step is to store your hard under ripe avocados at room temperature until ripe (avoid stacking avocados in a fruit bowl). Then to check if it’s ripe, gently press the neck of the avocado (not the body as it will bruise).
