My (nicu) nurse mother taught me as a child to offer to braid friends’ hair when visiting them in the hospital. It means so much ❤️

Recommendations for doing a hair wash in bed? My other hospital had those shower scrub caps but I don’t have them on my unit now :/

Amazing! They tried to induce me for four days with my sixth baby for medical reasons, and all I got we’re painful, unproductive contractions. 🥴

I firmly believe if I was unhooked and allowed to shower and eat something, I would’ve progressed on my own and not needed a C-section.

Ugh. The volunteers come in and wouldn’t want me in the pictures- only my husband. I hadn’t had chances to shower yet. It was so hurtful.
