@stephyinny: A day in Ueno🤤 We head straight to Ameya Yokocho, better known as “Ameyoko”. Our usual routine starts with getting cheap but fresh chirashi bowls ✨ My sister found this hole-in-the-wall spot when living in Tokyo years ago, and since then it’s gained more and more popularity. Tourists know about it now but they’ve still managed to keep their prices low. There was already a line before the stall opened, but it moved quick. They also have a super helpful menu with photos of all the items for you to choose from. After a yummy lunch, we go straight for our favorite matcha ice cream shop. Hands down THE BEST I’ve had in Japan. And I’ve had a lot, including in the town of Uji which is actually known for matcha. It’s such a sweet little mom & pop shop.
