Last week I was at a wedding where they only announced the.bride and groom in, first dance right away, then father:daughter mother/son, cake cutting and quick speeches. All over in about 10 minutes.

Our DJ suggested this to us! He said he has done so many weddings for the first dance, he has had a lot where people interrupt the couples dance.

Love this! Especially the cake idea. My fiance and I would always go on dessert dates when we first met. and we believe in eating dessert first because usually it’s something we can’t take home 🤣

I like this. We are doing a 2 tier cake & a dessert table. This way the guests can get dessert w/food. Putting a sign saying don’t touch till cake cut
