Wipe with an alcohol pad, wipe the first drop of blood and bring the strip parallel to the blood drop. Don’t scoop it up.

desinfect the finger first, puncture, clean first drop, prob the second. applaibg pressure(squisinh) can give you a diluted result.

I’m a CNA i would wipe the first bit of blood, try not to milk it so hard, and that’s to much blood on the strip, the strip will suck it up
