#stitch with @Melissa There shouldn’t be a price on honesty, integrity and credibility in my opinion. What this #contentcreator, and the other ones on the trip too, are trying to promote is a narrative to absolve #shein of thier wrong doing IN MY OPINION. SheIn knows that they can’t legally clean up their act, or really even address it, without having to change the ethics of how they treat their workers and build garments. Just as a reminder too, this is an ALL #fastfashion brand problem. Getting #influencers to sway the public opinion instead of investing in doing right by the people who work for your is abhorrent. I don’t blame Dani and the other #fashioncontentcreator per se. They made a choice to get a bag. Arguably at any cost. Even potentially the cost of their reputation. Especially in #fashion spaces. It is what is. They aren’t in control of the unethichal labor practices. They just are “not seeing it” because their vision is being blocked from it. Ultimately it’s up to you, the consumer to decide how you want to interpret what’s going on here. It’s up to you how you want to support businesses by how you spend your money. You can look for #sustainablefashion, #secondhandfashion, #ethicalfashion and #affordablefashion with conscious. You could even buy a few fast fashion pieces and try to hold on to them as long as possible. But WE have to make the change. Don’t let influencers try to gaslight you into thinking the kool-aid is just that when you what’s really going on. . #smallbrand #smalldesigner #styletok#fashioncommentary #commentary #fashiontok #brandtrip
