@the_green_bird_brigade: I am frequently asked how I manage my time with all of my birds and how much time I spend with them. The truth is, no day is the same. A "typical" day doesn't exist. I have had to find a balance that works for me and for them. When I have multiple birds out, which I frequently do, I have to take their size and sociability into account. This means every bird is not out with me for hours a day every day. Who is out when, and for how long, changes daily, but one thing remains the same. The quality of the time I spend with them. I choose to prioritize quality time over the quantity of time. That is why I make sure to do things like meals, training, bathing, and just actively interacting with each bird as much as possible when they are out with me. The other half of this is providing enrichment when they are not with me.
