@captainkatemccue: Happy 17th Anniversary to the man who makes every moment feel like a honeymoon! We were able to meet up in several ports this summer, giving us the opportunity to experience new places & interesting adventures! On this visit to Dubrovnik, Nikola watched me sail the ship in, brought me stuff I needed (i.e. toothpaste & air diffusers), had coffee & a Bug snuggle, we hopped on the scooter & went to visit my father-in-law (who made my favorite, butternut squash & apple strudel!). Nikola knows I'm obsessed with abandoned buildings, so he took me to see the 5-star Hotel Belvedere, which has been abandoned for 32 years, & most recently used as a film set for Game of Thrones. We took me to the "Center of the World" in Old Town, where I had the best gelato of my life, & we did a little shopping. The afternoon was spent chilling on the beach, then back on the ship for sushi dinner. It was a BEYOND perfect day & I'm grateful for every chance to spend time together!
