Do people not understand that pasturization is just heating up milk enough to kill the harmful bacteria and then cooling it back down rapidly. It's not some scary industrial process.

Hey! I'm an a specialist in food poisoning, and the risk of almost every food poising rises exponentially with raw dairy, even from healthy cows. I've seen kids suffer the rest of their lives bc of raw milk. It's just not worth it & pasterization is veryyy safe!

My parents are from a beautiful Caribbean island. I was made to go there every summer to make sure that I understood the simple life and how to function minimally. It was beautiful. First thing I was taught is not to drink from the cows on my grandfather’s farm. Pasteurization was discovered a very long time ago. And it was for a reason.
