When using Uponor in the cold you need to keep the rings warm or they will always slide off , keep them in your pocket before you use them

I can confirm upanor does suck. Plummer it in with our new tankless. Hot got pin holes at 5 years.

when expanding in the cold hit the rings with your torch very briefly. I've even done it on a small drip and had it seal up.
