Ford was in the middle of beating Ferrari at Le Mans and so had close contacts with Carroll Shelby. The hands were therefore almost naturally beaten together to bring a very sporty Mustang to the market. And so, in 1965, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 was born. Equipped with an extra peppery 289 ci V8 with 306 hp through a different exhaust for better flow of exhaust gases and a Holley carburettor for more fresh air. Paired with a manual transmission, the Shelby GT350 was awe-inspiring. The chassis was also completely revised, as the original Mustang had a rigid axle and leaf spring suspension at the rear, while the front was much too flexible to be capable of sporting deeds. So Carroll Shelby worked wonders by adding Koni adjustable dampers, sway bars and relocating the anchor points for better stability. New arrival. Please visit our website for more information.
