@hayat_salukis: They also tend to like to potty right after eating so even more reason to hold off on cleaning the pen until after. This is where baby wipes come in handy too. I usually have mom feed them right after and I think this assists in both additional hydration (they may not be really into the idea of water right away), and weaning because they will have less demand nursing right after.
