At the age of 8, I made a decision that I would make it through what I was going through, and help others know they were going to be able to make it through their hard situations too. I thank God for the life that I have lived, and that through Him I’ve been able to overcome. It has made me the person I am today. Not perfect, not all the way there yet, but everyday pressing forward with His lead. My heart is to take the lessons, situations, and wisdom I’ve learned, and share with others so that it to might help you through. Behind that smile is a person who lost her mother at the young age of 3, raised by a person with mental illness, drug addiction, and abuse. My life has been tried to be taken by multiple people on many different occasions. My family turned their back on my sisters and I because we weren’t willing to hate people that didn’t share our same color and beliefs. Was blessed to be a teenage mom of my 1st love at the age of 16. Had to drop out of school, get my GED, and worked 720 days at two jobs with out a single day off other then when I was in the hospital. I have lived on my own, paying every bill since I was 17 years old. Where if I didn’t have $5 I didn’t have $5! I have made it through traumatic relationships, terrible personal mindsets, many many many person mistakes, 2 divorces, and the list could go on…. BUT GOD!!!! Now I can testify that through Him I’ve been blessings to be used to help encourage over 10,000,000 people, spoke in front of 1000s, danced with 100s, traveled all across the world to 8 countries, visited so many places in America, been featured on CNN, Good Morning Alabama, and countless other news outlets and magazines. I have 3 amazing children, friends that would be by my side through anything, family who I cherish dearly. A purpose & career that I’ve always hoped for and better then I could have imagined. Life is definitely going to be life, but make the absolute best with it! Your life was a gift from God, and what you do with your life is your gift back to Him. I know there are people who’s lives have been far worse then my own, and have still chosen to rise from their hardships. The only reason I’m FORGIVEN, LOVED, at PEACE, walking in my PURPOSE, and able to still believe there is a DESTINY for me is because of the LOVE I have experienced through accepting, following, and believing in Christ Jesus, The Holy Spirit, and God! God can make the messiest mess a message, and I am proof of that. Today, is a great day to allow what tried to break you make you, and allow God to have all of you!
