@nicolegottesmann1: Thursdays are Spelling Days! I was worried Gabe would express more sadness and say something like he is feeling left out at school. Instead, he spoke to me directly. He spelled “It’s going to be ok mom” “Have faith” and “You try hard Mom” I cannot being to tell you the relief I felt as he finished his session, but it also made me realize that he is very much aware of my feelings and that it isn’t fair to him. In this moment he was taking care of me. I responded to him by telling him how proud I am of him and how hard he tries too.
