Use fusible interfacing instead of heat n bond!! It's so much cheaper, and it's only adhesive on one side so you skip the tissue paper step 😊

Out of curiosity have you tried just the cotton poplin and heat n bond without the tissue paper? Just to save the extra steps!

I’ve done this, but the heatnbond seeps through the fabric everytime I apply HTV. Do you have that problem too?
