Recipe and Tips for the Creamiest Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes you need to add to your Thanksgiving table! Here are my tips: * I find gold potatoes to have a superior taste and best texture for mashing; * always mashed potatoes while still hot; if you eat them cool they will turn sticky * running potatoes through the sieve makes them super smooth; it’s worth the effort; * you can roast the garlic along side your turkey as the ramekin is so tiny; Ingredients: 3 lbs yellow gold potatoes 3 tbs butter + 1 tbs melted butter to top off 1.5 tsp salt, or to taste 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream, warm 1/4 cup whole milk, warm Chives Roasted garlic 1 head of garlic Pinch of salt Black pepper Method: 1. Cut the top off a garlic head, season with olive oil, salt and pepper and roast until soft and caramelized; (I roasted in the air fryer at 350 F for 30 mins) 2. Peel, wash and cube potatoes; boil until fork tender; 3. Drain the water and push potatoes through a mesh sieve while still hot; squeeze and run the garlic through as well; add butter and mix until butter has melted; pour cream and milk and mix well; 4.
