Vegan Salmon! 🍣 Here’s what you’ll need: 2 blocks firm tofu Marinade: 1 tbsp miso 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 1 tsp pepper Optional add salt to taste 1 tsp Italian herbs 1 cup kelp water + kelp (1-2 sticks of kelp) 1 - 2 nori sheets shredded (save some rectangle cut outs for the “fish skin”) 1 tbsp garlic powder or 1 clove crushed garlic 1 golf ball size 😂 pink dragonfruit or beetroot (Add more if you want the pink more rich) I don’t like beets that’s why I used dragonfruit Method: First boil the kelp in about 1 and 1/2 cups water for 10-15mins. Next prep your Tofu, you may cut the tofu into a salmon shape, but that’s up to you, then cut slits into the tofu and both top and bottom sides. Now make your marinade, adding all the ingredients to your blender, and blend till smooth. Place tofu in a container with marinade and marinade for at least 1-2hrs. The longer the better. Heat up some light oil in your pan, (I used olive oil) add your tofu carefully in. Cook on medium heat for 5 mins on each side or until it starts to brown. I added a nori sheet on the 1st side of the tofu as it was cooking, and then flipped it over to cook the 2nd side. Serve with your favorite sides! I’m definitely gonna try making this again but make it more like a steak or grilled ham/chicken or something like that. Happy cooking! #vegan #veganism #veganrecipes #vegansalmon #vegansalmonrecipe #veganfish #fish #salmon #veganism #veganfood #vegansoftiktok #vegancooking #fisharefriends
