Suzanne Somers was interviewed in 2019 by Randy Martin, director of “Karen Carpenter: Starving for Perfection,” who has shared more about his time with Suzanne Somers: “Back in 2019, while filming interviews for our Karen Carpenter documentary, I had the rare privilege of visiting the striking and savvy Suzanne Somers and her ever-present, loving husband, Alan Hamel, at their Mediterranean-chic hillside home in Palm Springs, CA. The couple could not have been more gracious welcoming the cinematographer and myself, even offering us a sample of their favorite uber rare tequila (after we wrapped, of course). Right away you could tell she was not the ditzy Chrissy Snow she played on Three’s Company…au contraire, even as we prepped for the shoot, the power couple were laser focused running their health and wellness empire.
