@missclairebenjamin: 🚨Handling the “disrespectful” one👇 🧠 When we feel undermined by our direct report it often causes anger because it feels very disrespectful. 🚫 Try to avoid personalising it. It’s not about you it’s likely about them not being able to communicate openly and transparently. 💡Approach it calmly and with curiosity. This will help you understand what is driving their behaviour so you can influence them. ▶️ I would also recommend showing you respect their perspective and are open to a different point of view BUT you would like them to talk to you directly if there is something they disagree with so you can agree a way forward together. 🔥 Role model the behaviour you want from them!
