Honestly this makes me feel better about my own son who’s 2 1/2 and struggling with speech. The more I learn, seems like boys are much more physical

My son is in speech therapy and I asked his SLP if they see more boys with later speech development and she said it definitely is a thing.

Early intervention is so important 😊 kiddos at 2 should have at least 50 words. There are so many great strategies to help your kiddos communicate!

My son has always talked very clearly and and absolute chatterbox. But he’s currently an only child so not sure if that’s a factor. 🤷🏼♀️
