Don’t get me wrong, there are sweet clients however so many people would come in acting as if everyone’s beneath them. I lost count how many people would tell me “🤫, I don’t want to hear it!”. I understand that a lot of people who work in sales can be overally pushy to the point of being harassing however that was never the case with me. Did I try to make sales? Yes.. because it was in my job description but I always did it in a none pushy and extremely honest way. I made clients aware of promotions, informed them of how to properly take care of their skin especially if they were going to tan in the bed but my main goal was to be kind, make them feel welcome and have them leave knowing that they could trust me because they can. I would never try to sale a product I didn’t think was good. Honesty and NOT being pushy actually made me more sales. I don’t care if you’re a customer or not, being a customer doesn’t automatically make you better than everyone else and unfortunately will NOT earn my respect. If you’re not interested in any promotion, that’s completely fine ☺️ however there are much kinder ways to voice that instead of demanding someone to shut up.
