@marksmithphotos: 10 mins before sunrise and the ospreys had already worked themselves into a frenzy. This bird immediately caught my eye as it folded its wings and entered its high speed free fall towards some poor unsuspecting fish. Its entry into the water creating a massive splash that became magically lit by the soon to rise sun. As the bird rose like a Phoenix, that same brilliant light set the bird ablaze with an amazing fiery color making appear to indeed be a Phoenix. I didn’t even notice the fishing line dangling from its catch until I got home. Modern camera gear is amazing! Glad I’m not a fish! #osprey #fish #bird #birbs #florida #marksmithphotography
