@billmaeda: My Favorite Core Exercise ❤️ - age 54, October 19, 2023, 4:57 pm 🌺 CAUTION: THIS VIDEO IS FOR DEMONSTRATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS EXERCISE CAN BE DANGEROUS. I love this exercise because it reveals to me all the “pukas” (holes) in my anterior chain (quads, hams,hip flexors, core, pecs, lats, and other muscles that help me scrunch myself into a fetal position.) I have no partnerships with @baseblocks, but when I saw a post for The Mini Bars, I reached out to them and they were kind enough to send me a pair. I wanted these because they would hold me high enough off the ground to start in my version of a tuck Planché and not scrape my feet when I lower my hips to project my legs forward into a shaky L-Sit. The base is wide and very stable, but the legs fold for low Push Ups as well as storage. I have always had a deep respect and a healthy degree of jealousy when I see all the great calisthenics, gymnastics, parkour, breakdancing, yoga, and other body weight athletes and magicians becoming their disciplines. I struggle to do the most basic exercises, but I can’t stop because even sucking at this makes me better at lots of other things, so it’s worth it. Much aloha 🌺
