@travelcroats: As fit as you think you are, this hill will challenge you!😅🥴 🇹🇭 The main attraction at Tiger Cave Temple is a sacred site that stands at the top of a 238-metre-high mountain of 1,260 steps. In some sections the steps are more than 30 cm high, so it’s a gruelling challenge, but infinitely worth it for the reward at the top. ⛰️ When reaching the summit you are welcomed by a majestic golden Buddha statue, a sacred shrine, and spectacular 360 views across the green Thai countryside, from the ancient trees of the Khiriwong Valley out to the Andaman Sea. 🌊 ‼️After tackling the challenge ourselves, we’ve gathered these tips to help you get the most out of your visit: ✨Helpful Tips: * The best time to visit the Tiger Cave Temple is early morning (we don’t recommend late afternoon, as we read online, cuz monkeys will take over the stairs) * Bring a water bottle with you! * It’s open every day from 8am to 5pm * Be aware of the monkeys. Keep all your loose belongings, such as sunglasses and phones, safely stowed away in your bag to prevent the monkeys from snatching them from you. * Bring small cash with you for the donation. * If you are visiting during sunset, bring headlamps with you for the way down and be prepared for monkeys! * Wear modest clothing (women should have their shoulders and knees covered). Bring a change of clothes for the climb up to the top of the mountain. SAVE THIS REEL and make sure to challenge yourself with this climb! Follow @travelcroats for more travel tips ☝🏼
