Number three, and this is the one I care most about: Stop accepting normal as an answer when you feel terrible. Normal is a very wide net, built to catch disease, not to describe how a 47-year-old woman is supposed to feel. Nobody's lying to you, they're just answering a different question than the one you asked. You're allowed to say, nothing is abnormal, and I'm telling you something is wrong. You're not difficult for saying that. You're paying attention, and you deserve to be listened to. Find the root. Heal the whole.
