I think overall, just having a choice is the luxury part. Some people cannot afford to be a SAHM, some people cannot afford to work/pay for childcare

Yes! Working is a luxury. Daycare is $1550 for us. I have a nice office and wfh 3 times a week. Me working also gets me a large 401k match. My work

I think the CHOICE for either is the luxury. I can’t afford childcare so am a SAHM but also work from home. It’s exhausting.

To stay home we sold my car, no eating out no trips no unnecessary shopping & we live on an extremely tight budget. It’s very luxurious 😊
