Wet the edges of the dumplings with water and add 1 tbsp of filling in the middle of the wrapper. Fold, pleat, and seal the dumplings to the desired shape. Repeat the process until all the fillings are used up. Drizzle a bit of oil in the non-stick pan and place the dumplings in. Fry the dumplings on medium heat for 2-3 minutes until they are slightly brown at the bottom. Then add 4-5 tbsp of water. Close the lid and cook for another 4-5 minutes until the water evaporates and the bottom part of the dumpling crisps up. Combine the dipping sauce ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until sugar is dissolved. Master Tips: Do not overcook your dumplings so that the filling stays moist and juicy Make sure to season the fillings properly Use a slightly fatty mince for the fillings.
