@the_green_bird_brigade: In the last week, really within a few days, we got two new rescues. These are their stories. Fiji, a sun conure, was found outside by some good people who took him in and looked for his owner. After weeks with no luck, they brought him to me. Because we don’t know how he got outside or where he came from, we know nothing about him. Tiki, on the other hand, was an owner surrender. He had been with his owner for his whole life. He is a four year old jenday. He was surrendered because the previous owner decided she no longer had time for him. I also believe it was due to the noise. He started plucking his feathers about a year ago. I am hoping to reverse it. Both birds are very sweet and friendly and both will be looking for their forever homes in the near future. #conure #conures #sunconure #jendayconure #rescue #birds #parrots
