#JJK | Cursed Youth You can take this edit seriously or not, honestly my emotions went up and down went making this lmao Seriously tho, people who have seen my content know I love the cursed youth aspect of JJK. How most of the time it’s the adults that put the kids in a position where they either need to defend themselves or d*e. In different ways, all the kids in jjk were betrayed by the adults that are supposed to protect them. Yuta and Yuji were put up execution for things they couldn’t control. Megumi was sold like TWICE and forced to become a sorcerer. Maki went through years of abuse for being a non-sorcerer. And a lot of the kids DIED - some of them MULTIPLE times. I know some people didn’t like the ending to Jjk because they believed that nothing had changed systematically, but that’s actually not true. The higher-ups are dead and a lot of the adults that kept the old system running are dead as well. Change isn’t going to happen over night, we saw that the students were in a place where their lives weren’t just moves in a board game and that’s the first step. The fact that they now have a CHOICE is more of a change than anything. That’s why it was so symbolic that the students were the ones to take down Sukuna and not Gojo. Because Gojo was still stuck in the past due to his upbringing and trauma, whereas the students were open to improvement and change and fought tooth and nail to defeat Sukuna - but more importantly save Megumi. It’s susch an interesting topic in jjk and I think jjk goes into child soldiers a lot more than other mangas do (in my opinion) but I do wish we saw more revenge towards the adults that upheld this system :) Sorry for the rant.
