I could do the work but after raising my kids on my own I tried to be sure they had everything. They never felt less than like I did growing up. Soon as they were out in College they shut me out with no explanation. I’ve tried and tried to reach out to them but nothing worked. The hardest part was I thought I was doing good then all the sudden I suppose I wasn’t it has taken years to get over the hurt and let go.
