pulled a 18k dozer on a 01 2500hd gasser...no issue. these newer trucks handle weight soooo much better even so 🤷 no issues

Most 550’s will have utility beds, boom beds, chipper beds etc because of the increased payload capacity.

why I built my own pickup out of a class a Freightliner, can pull 80,000 lb if I want, and my 12.7 60 series gets better mileage than new pickups

Yes that works but you’re really pushing it,you really should have a 3500 dually ,so much better control and stability.Night and day.

stock for stock my 450 was a dog compared 250. F250, built trans, aftermarket vgt, air bags, traction bars, hot tune. Pulls like a 🚂 train

We pull similar but use 350 single wheel it seems to handle weight a bit better. Have an older 03 550 but it’s a bit underpowered compared to newer
