Awareness of self in the environment greatly increases in teenage life, everything is more keenly felt, and sensation is sought for its own sake.” 🚨 CAUSES OF DEPRESSION: (According to G. Stanley Hall) - Suspicion of being disliked - being a flawed human - feeling isolated from peer groups - first experience in fantasy of hopeless love, while not mature enough to sustain it -self-consciousness -Self criticism STUDIES SHOW 🧐🧐🧐 That teenage years are when” advanced reasoning skills” grow, allowing teenagers to “read between the lines” which magnifies there’s sensitivity to situations. 🤍🔽🤍🤍🔽 KNOW ITS A PHASE, its normal to be sensitive, confused, concerned and critical.
