Dino TWIX! 🦖🦕🌞 Ingredients: * 3/4 cup softened butter (I used salted) * 1 cup granulated sugar * 2 eggs * 1 tsp vanilla extract * 3 cups AP flour * 1 tsp baking powder * 11 oz bag Kraft baking Caramels * One bag chocolate melting wafers Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 360°F (180°C) 2. In a medium sized bowl beat butter and sugar with a hand mixer until fully combined. 3. Add eggs and vanilla to butter mixture. 4. Combine flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. 5. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix on low until a dough forms. 6. Refrigerate dough for 1 hour. 7. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to approximately 1/4 inch and cut cookies into desired shape. 8. Place cookies onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 6-8 minutes or until edges start turning golden brown. 9. Allow cookies to cool completely. 10. Melt caramel over a double boiler (I just put a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water) 11. If caramel seams too thick you can add a splash of heavy cream to make it easier to spread onto cookies. 12. Dip each cookie in the caramel being careful not to burn your fingers. 13. Melt chocolate in microwave at 30 second intervals, then dip each cookie into the chocolate to cover the caramel. 14.
