I totally understand having a home birth. you just have to have a back up plan for the worst case scenario, but you need that in the hospital as well

Here in The Netherlands it’s normal to give home birth. Just think about that in other country’s it’s normal so don’t worry about it. Goodluck 💜

I was the same with my first, than I ended up having an extremely traumatic birth (lives close to hosp) she was born not breathing (she’s okay now)

Just make sure you have a plan in place as a back up. I planned a home birth for my first and it didn’t happen, but I was happy I was prepared.

I was born at home, as was my brother. The midwives were prepared to escalate to hospital if necessary but didn't need to for either of us!

make sure a nurse is there with supplies but I wanted one had everything set up for every case and he was not in the right position
