Not just neck guards but, kevlar socks, shirts, whatever. there are so many spots that a skate could easily cut you.

Get a Bauer shirt with the Kevlar neck guard built in. It doesn’t affect mobility and I don’t even notice it. My kids wear them too.

Yes! Leagues should start making them mandatory. There are some now that aren’t as bulky and uncomfortable.
