Honestly, it largely looked weathered and battle worn. Could just lean into it and maybe add some rub n buff.

Have you tried the Rustoleum Filler Primer? One coat and all layer lines go away usually. It’s great great stuff

with that filler use a little bit of water and it works better for spreading it around

Just roll with it and paint it as though it's rusted, corroded, or covered in dirt. Make it look like it's from a fallen Mando.

Print, sand 80grit,resin 1 coat,1coat Bondo an acetone.. Sand 120.primer then sand 400, fill, then wet 600grit

Best filler I’ve found is wood putty goes on great easy to sand and paint sticks very good

the best thing about my p1p is that because it's so fast, I can print at a super fine layer height and still get helmets printed faster than my ender

I tend to use car body filler it's cheep durable easy to sand and gives a quality Finnish 🤙🏻

I made a spray booth with PVC pipe, plastic drop cloth, a $10 box fan and an air filter. Keeps the paint contained and pulls the extra spray away.

From those clumps it looks like you may not have used the right grit of sand paper to knock down your fillers. What grit did you use ?
