Most people didn’t hate the way they looked in 2000-2001. They didn’t like them in the late 60s early 70s when they were first built. It wasn’t 9/11 that changed people’s minds. They were a symbol of the city through the 80s and 90s. Read a bit more closely before posting.

The floors look claustrophobic. Like a six foot person would almost touch the ceiling.

Also, you have to know most restaurants were closed on Monday, so like I said, these were probably recorded around anywhere in between 6 and 8 o’clock. I can tell it was a Monday because restaurants aren’t open on Mondays and this was recorded around 6 - 8 pm.

It was a pain in the ass working in these buildings as an electrician-construction dealing with freight elevator! Other than that I always loved these buildings and dearly miss them, NYC hasn’t been the same since. Unfortunately like many we lost too many loved ones that day. I remember my grandpa saying to me and my dad that this is how he felt when pearl harbor was attacked when he was stationed there. May we never forget!!

It looks like that happened probably recorded 14 to 15 hours before the attacks. Or it could’ve been recorded a couple of nights before but most definitely these photos were taken around 6 to 8 o’clock at night.
