I knew someone like this. No siblings and parents discouraged friendships. He was very mature, adult and dull even as a young teen.

Omg me too, I was an only child and even as I child I recognised that children were annoying to adults and and all I wanted was to spend time with adults in a way that didn’t annoy them.
