@panafricandiaspora: SLAVERY IN THE NAME OF GOD Patrick Loch Otieno (P.L.O.) Lumumba is a Kenyan lawyer and activist. He is a former director of the Kenya School of Law and served as the director of the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission. Lumumba is a Pan-Africanist by heart and has held many speeches alluding to or about African solutions to African problems. He is often invited as a key note speaker on various African platforms and organizations such as African Union and African Development Bank. Religion was used by Christians and Muslims to rationalize and give legitimacy to slavery. Lumumba takes us back into a world where slavery was considered as god ordained: „Religion as we know it is as guilty as guilt can be in the enslavement of peoples“. #plolumumba #educateyourself #slavery #churchlies #dontbelievethehype #reparations
