But there's absolutely no consistency in plus sizes. It's 2XL in one. Garment could be a totally different size than another.

Major problem is the lack of standardized sizing. The makers ideas of larger sleeves doesn’t mean longer. Sleeves are a huge issue

I see it as : XXL = regular sizing. A step above XL. Sometimes = to 1X. Number + X (1X, 2X …) = plus sizes.
