LA SANGRE DE JESUCRISTO: PAGA DEFINITIVA POR EL PECADO Primeramente es necesario entender que, tanto en el Antiguo como en el Nuevo Pacto, la salvación siempre fue por la fe. No obstante, La Biblia establece que la sangre es esencial para el perdón porque representa la vida. El principio fundamental, resumido en Hebreos 9:22, es que "sin derramamiento de sangre no hay remisión" de pecados. Bajo la Ley de Moisés en el Antiguo Pacto, la expiación era temporal, y la remisión funcionaba mediante un sistema de sacrificios animales. El pecador traía un animal inocente para que muriera en su lugar. Al derramarse la sangre del animal, se pagaba simbólicamente la deuda de muerte que el pecado del hombre había causado. Los sacrificios "cubrían" el pecado, pero no lo eliminaban permanentemente; por eso debían repetirse continuamente, especialmente en el Día de la Expiación. En Jesucristo la Redención es definitiva: El Nuevo Testamento presenta la muerte de Jesús como el sacrificio final y perfecto que reemplaza al antiguo sistema. A diferencia de los animales, la sangre de Cristo no solo "cubre" el pecado, sino que lo quita definitivamente. La sangre de Jesús ratifica un nuevo pacto entre Dios y la humanidad, ofreciendo no solo perdón, sino también una transformación interna y vida eterna. Hebreos 10:12-14 explica que Cristo, habiendo ofrecido un solo sacrificio por los pecados, se sentó a la diestra de Dios, pues con una sola ofrenda hizo perfectos para siempre a los santificados. JESUCRISTO, EL SUMO SACERDOTE PERFECTO Además de ser "el sacrificio perfecto", Jesucristo también es "el sumo sacerdote" perfecto. Pero a diferencia del sacerdocio levítico, el de Jesús es un sacerdocio eterno, llamado "el orden de Melquisedec". Salmos 110:4, Hebreos 7:17: "Tú eres sacerdote para siempre, Según el orden de Melquisedec". Hebreos 7:26: "Porque tal sumo sacerdote nos convenía: santo, inocente, sin mancha, apartado de los pecadores, y hecho más sublime que los cielos; que no tiene necesidad cada día, como aquellos sumos sacerdotes, de ofrecer primero sacrificios por sus propios pecados, y luego por los del pueblo; porque esto lo hizo una vez para siempre, ofreciéndose a sí mismo. Long division may be a more efficient method but it’s not particularly intuitive for less experienced students, so it’s no wonder teachers often resort to memory techniques, but these can lead to more problems. Multiply what? Subtract what? 🫠 Without understanding the procedure, we’re left with so many opportunities for things to go wrong. It’s far better to spend time with methods that make intuitive sense, that require no memorising, just an understanding of the concept of division itself as equal grouping or equal sharing.
