@eatatmaudes: Ahh November 1st! That means lots and lots of excess halloween candy!!! Here is the perfect brown butter cookie recipe… consider it the vehicle for all the fun size chocolate bars you will have hanging around. Or you can be normal and just throw chocolate chips into your batter. Either way, you’re in for a real treat! What you need: * 1 cup unsalted butter * 1/2 cup white sugar * 1 1/3 cup brown sugar * 2 tsp vanilla * 2 eggs * 2 1/2 cup flour * 1 tsp cornstarch * 1 tsp baking soda * 1/2 tsp baking powder * 1 tsp salt * 1/2 cup chocolate chips * 2 cups halloween candy, chopped if bars What to do: -mix butter and sugars in a stand mixer, with paddle attachment. Hand mixer works fine too. Mix for about 39 seconds on low/medium speed. -add eggs and vanilla extract, mix well. -sift in dry ingredients, mix until you can see no more flour. Add candy and chocolate chips. Fold with a spatula. Cover and chill for 2 hours. -preheat oven to 375 degrees. Scoop and place cookies 2 inches apart from each other on a cookie sheet (anout 5 per sheet), lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10 min. Sprinkle with sea salt fresh out of the oven.
