The difference between salon colours and box dyes is the chemicals they use which makes it harder to remove as a stylist….

Another difference that I think is important is application. A stylist knows not to pull through permanent color to the ends or overlap at the root

you actually get enough colour in a tube of professional colour though where as you need to buy 2 boxes to get enough, so unless you have short hair..
