@pirata__morgan: Can you identify that cute and well camouflaged crab? Underwater videography is crucial for capturing the unique behaviors and features of marine creatures like the Xeno Crab, also known as the Wire Coral Crab (Xenocarcinus tuberculatus). This small crustacean has adapted to survive on black wire corals, which makes it an intriguing subject for underwater media. The Xeno Crab's remarkable ability to camouflage with its host coral is thanks to the small bumps, or tubercles, covering its flattened body. These bumps closely resemble the polyps of the black wire corals, making it hard for predators to spot the crab. #uwphotography #uwmacrophoto #uwart #underwaterphotography #marinelife #ocean #fotografiasubmarina #scubaphoto #scubalife #wildlife #coral #arrecife #nature #wirecoral 📍 #Lombok - #Indonesia 🤿 @Bluemarlindivekutalombok #padi #paritv #scuba #scubadiving
