You must clean them out, just like you clean the lint out of a regular dryer. You just have an extra step.

I guess I’m just lucky, because I went with the Miele T1 and I’ve never had the issue people complain about with heat pump dryers.

Woah, I had a dryer like this in my apartment when I was working in Cape Town and it NEVER dried my clothes. I guess this is all it needed

I love my ventless dryer. I take care of my Miele and I love that I don’t have to worry about having to clean the vent duct and the possibility of a house fire.

In Britain, we call these condenser dryers, and they are one of the most common now vented is being phased out
