The kid isn't wrong. My daughter's teachers won't post grades for tests for at least a week after it's been taken.

HS teacher here, understand we get about 45 minutes a day to grade, plan, answer emails, post, etc. If you turn it in late, it goes to end of my list

I don't even ask my high schooler why she has missing assignments. She makes honor roll every semester anyways.
