@marksmithphotos: Ospreys in this area have an eagle alarm call. When they spot an eagle coming, they make a very specific sound to alert all the other ospreys in the area. Every time I hear that call, I know something crazy is about to happen. Eagles are huge birds. They simply dwarf ospreys and they use their larger size to coerce ospreys into dropping their hard earned catch. Bald Eagles are SO flipping lazy. I have had them sit up in trees and wait for me to throw back some junk fish I didn't want like a sun fish and they'll dive in and grab the now tired fish

I've seen this in person in Oregon. It blew my mind. The eagle was watching ospreys and took off once one caught a fish
