It’s usually made with split peas, but we used runner beans instead. The blend of spices, wiri wiri pepper and mango sour always hits the spot! RECIPE: 1/2 - 1cup dry split peas or peeled beans 4-5 garlic cloves 5-6 wiri wiri pepper or a scotch bonnet 1/4 tsp turmeric 1/2 tsp curry powder 1/2 tsp ground cumin 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup flour 1 tsp baking powder *Note add a little bit of water only when blending peas or beans.
